What's sad is that your friend's views are obviously no longer her own. Even if she had changed her mind, it might have been more palatable had she backed her new views up with passionate conviction and sound reasoning.

Scary how a marriage can change a person that drastically!

Absolutely beautiful! I just posted an update on my son. He's 3. He wears my patience thin at times too but he's the light of my world! I love him to the moon and back.

Thanks for sharing this post about your daughter.

Yes, your husband is probably taking his hurt over loosing his mother out on you. No, you're not being over sensitive. I would've been just as frustrated! The worst part was probably the fact that he was speaking that way to you in front of his siblings. Not cool.

Take a deep breath and let it go.

Sorry your husband snapped at you like that. Sure he's hurting, but there's no reason to take it out on you. Hope that you enjoy your time outside. It always helps me relax.

Hi, I came over to see your recipe for Friday and started reading your adoption story. My children are both adopted, my son was a foster/adopt. My daughter Sarah was a precious gift. We brought her home from the hospital when she was 2 days old. My children are 22 and 20 now. We started talking with them around the age of 5 about being adopted. There are some books written for children explaining adoption. ( sorry I'm not remembering the titles right now) My daughter was younger and wanted to be adopted because her brother was!! We let it be their decision about telling people for the most part. Sometimes, they did and sometimes not. There are different opinions about children sensing the loss or rejection, but I would rather say your daughter is probably just going through normal toddler emotions. Sorry this got so wordy....I got carried away. If there's anything else you'd like to talk about just drop me an email.
